To resell your quality, fashionable and upscale items on consignment with Mariposa, you must have a membership.

The membership fee is $24 for the first year of resale. The initial membership fee is due at the time of the opening of your membership. Your membership will be created at the onset of your first drop-off of items, any time during regular store hours.

Each time you drop-off items for resale, that “batch” of items will be reviewed by a member of management. If there are any items that are not accepted for resale you will be notified via email. You will have the option to reply to that email authorizing Mariposa to donate your unaccepted items or notifying Mariposa that you will pick-up your unaccepted items within one week of sent email or they will be donated.

The accepted items from each batch you drop-off will be processed and prepared for the sales floor. Once your items are ready they will be inventoried for a period of 60-days. You will receive a detailed inventory list with a description, sales price and pick-up date for each item via email.

During the 60-day selling period for each batch the sales price will discount up to 50%. A store credit profit of 50% of the sold item(s) or a cash profit of 40% of the sold item(s) for each sold item will remain in your account for a period of 1 year from the sale date.

It is your responsibility to use your store credit or collect your cash profit within the one year time frame. It is your choice when and how you use your profit within the year. At anytime during regular store hours you may use your store credit. If you would like a cash payout or the remaining balance from your store credit in cash a 24 hour requested is mandatory. If you make a cash payout request you may chose to have a check mailed within 24 hours or ready for pick-up within 24 hours.

It is your responsibility to collect your unsold items by the noted pick-up date or they will become the property of Mariposa. You may email or call by the pick-up date to have your unsold items collected and ready for you to pick-up within 24 hours or you may stop in by your pick-up date and pull your unsold items off of the sales floor yourself.

Mariposa is not responsible for loss, theft or damage of your items during the selling period.
